hi, im 33 yrs old... my weight is about 90kg, 5 5 height, i seldom exercise nowadays due to work... im asking about my blood pressure test result about 180/80 digital wrist band blood pressure device... i dont know if its true reading/results for my blood pressure... thanx
hi thanks for posting in HCM I have understand your concern
digital BP monitors doesn't give proper recordings compared to manual sphygmomanometer.
but the reading of 180/80 is high
you are obese and that is the reason for your high BP
I can suggest you to check your BP at rest in different times of a day for 3 days with sphygmomanometer.if then also your BP is high you have to start on life style modifications , if it doesn't work then you need medications.
I can suggest you to exercise regularly and reduce salt intake.
hope this helps you any further questions please let me know thanks
